The Process
Getting the Quote
You get in touch with us, and we discuss your needs and when you need our services.
We send you a quote for our services with proposed dates for our visits and we discuss if the quote needs to be tweaked.
You agree to the quote.
Sign the Agreement & Pay the Deposit
We will ask you for some more detailed information about what you need specifically and develop a schedule of visits. Then we will write up an Agreement with the things we've discussed.
We schedule an in-person meeting to get to know you, your home, and your pets. We want you to feel completely comfortable with us before you head out!
Then we will either get you to sign the Agreement using an e-signature from which you will receive a copy electronically or we will bring 2 paper copies for us to sign with each keeping one copy.
You will then give us a set of keys to your home.
You pay 50% of the quote.
Visits to your Home
We keep your keys in a safe, locked box.
Once you’re away, my team and I will visit your home according to the schedule we've agreed to, take care of everything and send you regular updates.
Your Return Home
When you come back, your home will be just as you left it – safe, sound, and ready for you to settle back into.
We will return your keys or keep them for future services if you wish.
We send you an invoice identifying the remainder of the balance and you pay the remainder of the quote within 2 business days of returning home.
We hope you call us again the next time you need our services. If you do, then we'll start the process again from Step 1 - “Getting the Quote”.

About

Riaz Mohammed
OwnerOriginally from Trinidad, I grew up in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. I’ve had a passion for building community and creating meaningful connections my whole life—whether that was through hockey, music, or volunteering.
After 33 rewarding years teaching in the Ottawa Carleton District School Board, mostly with special education and new Canadians, I found myself ready for a new adventure. Today, you’ll find me walking my dog, Koda, playing hockey, camping, canoeing, singing in my choir, taking photos like the ones below and volunteering with causes like my AltaVista community outdoor rink and a local charity, OrKidstra.
I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Laura, for 27 years, and we’re proud to watch our two grown children thrive as young adults.
While I was happily retired, an exciting opportunity to start this house sitting business came my way, and I’m thrilled to offer you a reliable, trustworthy, and caring service to look after your home while you’re away.
